Welcome to the YM RACING FAQ page. Whether you are buying your first commuter bike, upgrading your road setup, or looking for premium replacement components, we have gathered the answers to our most common questions right here.
1. Ordering & Stock
- Are all the bicycles on your website in stock? All goods are subject to live availability. While we make every effort to keep our website inventory 100% accurate, mistakes can occasionally happen. If you order a bike that is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you immediately to offer the choice of waiting for the next shipment or receiving a full, immediate refund.
- Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? Because we aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours, please contact YM RACING as a matter of urgency if you need to alter or cancel your order. Once a bicycle has been handed over to our courier, we are unable to cancel it in transit, and it must be processed as a standard return.
2. Shipping & Delivery
- How long will it take for my bicycle to arrive? Unless stated otherwise, we dispatch all orders within 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays). The final transit time depends entirely on the courier option you choose at checkout. Estimated timescales will be displayed clearly before you pay.
- Do you ship bicycles fully assembled? To ensure safety during transit, bicycles are shipped securely packaged in a heavy-duty bike box and will require some basic assembly (usually straightening the handlebars, attaching the front wheel, and screwing in the pedals). Simple instructions and basic tools are included. If you are uncomfortable with final assembly, we highly recommend taking it to a local professional bicycle mechanic.
- What happens if my delivery is delayed? We do everything in our power to get your bike to you on time, but third-party courier delays are occasionally inevitable due to weather or seasonal volume. YM RACING holds no liability for courier delays outside of our estimated windows.
3. Sizing & Fit
- How do I know which bicycle size is right for me? Every bike model features a specific sizing chart in its brochure or webpage description based on rider height and inside leg measurements. Because manufacturer specifications can vary drastically between brands and styles, please check these measurements carefully or contact us for guidance prior to ordering.
4. Returns & Refunds
- What is your return policy for bicycles? If you change your mind, you can return your item. Once YM RACING receives your returned bicycle, we will inspect it to ensure it is in its original, unused condition with all packaging intact, and notify you regarding the status of your refund.
- Who pays for return shipping costs? You will be entirely responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Because bicycles are large, high-value shipments, we strongly recommend using a tracked, insured courier service, as risk of damage passes to you until the item is safely back in our possession. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Guarantees & Warranties
- Do the bicycles come with a warranty? Yes. All product guarantees are provided entirely by the original manufacturers or UK importers and are subject to their specific terms. Please remember to complete and return all warranty cards or register your bicycle online immediately upon receipt to protect your purchase.
